Shubani Zargar

Shubani Zargar, 19, is wholly and solely a self-taught artist who has just passed her 12th standard from Green Land Higher Secondary School and also goes by the nom de plume (brush-name) of Mahir Zargar. Born and brought up in Nowshera, Srinagar, Shubani aspires to become a world renowned artist and make some serious contributions in the field. She believes that there is always a room for improvement and is very determined about working hard… She is presently preparing for her Bachelor of Architecture Entrance Examinations as well. Besides painting, she is interested in music, travelling and English literature.
