Syed Danishta

My name is Syed Danishta.  I’m 18 years old. I’ve been drawing from a young age and I have done my schooling  from Mallinson girls school in Srinagar and  sometime back I was featured onn DD KASHMIR as an young artist.

When it comes to drawing, what inspires me is the situations, the emotions, the rush, basically what I feel.

Motivation for me just has always come from within. I always try to do better not to prove someone else but to myself  that I am worth something.

I have had crazy plans like joining navy, I liked rough stuff but eventually after all my tries my family just stood by their decision of saying no  to my plans so I had to give up that dream and I have some other plans instore now.  I want to do finish my studies and  open up an NGO for doing good deeds like helping others in one way or the other. I’ve also always wanted be a surgeon really bad. My future plans are just like a weird  and like rollercoaster ride, they keep on changing.
